The Ruth T. Bigham Oak Island Senior Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to the needs and desires of the senior citizens of Smithville Township. It is our intent to provide fellowship, activity programs, and enrichment for those 50 years of age and older. The Center is maintained and operated by its members and volunteer services are always welcome. If you can help with your efforts and talents, please let us know.

Our monthly dinner meetings are every third Tuesday of the month. Please come and bring a covered dish and enjoy the fellowship. You are also encouraged to attend the Board Meetings which are held on the Thursday before the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 3pm at the Center.

We have a monthly Newsletter and maintain an online Activities Calendar.

Please download the Membership Application, and return it and the fee to the Center either via mail or drop it off when the Center is open.
